Summer Art Lab At Home! 2020 
 
Week 3: Aug. 3 -7    Houses and Habitats
A week's worth of art projects inspired by homes, animals, and places. Students will draw, paint, construct, stamp and collage. 
 
Let us bring the Museum to you this summer! Our popular Summer Art Lab program has been redesigned to be explored at home in 3 themed week-long sessions. Each weekly session includes several age-appropriate art projects using a variety of materials to engage students in an exploration of art through creativity and imagination. Art Lab is geared for ages 5 - 10, and projects can be differentiated for each student through conversations with our educator Katie. Each week includes: 

 Enrollment is limited to 12 students per session, and registration is required. Registration includes access to: 

  •  Instructional videos for each project to work through at your own pace + a special video for adults sharing some tips and tricks 
  • 3 live virtual classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday - at 10 am via Zoom community building, inspiration, Q+A and sharing.
  • Introduction to historical and contemporary artists
  • A private, virtual conference per family with Katie to discuss the art projects 
  • Art materials kit with materials needed for the week of projects.
    •  Available for curbside pickup at the Museum the week before each session begins; if you prefer contactless drop-off ( local deliveries only), then two weeks' advance registration is required.
